How to do the glute bridge
- 1
Lie on your back with knees bent, feet flat on the floor about hip-width apart and arms resting by your sides.
- 2
Press through your heels and lift your hips until your body forms a straight line from knees to shoulders, squeezing your glutes.
- 3
Hold the top for a second, then lower slowly until your hips just tap the floor. Breathe out as you lift and in as you lower.
Form tip: Stop when your hips are level; pushing higher only arches your lower back and takes the work off your glutes.
