How to do the pilates hundred
- 1
Lie on your back with your legs raised to a tabletop or extended at about 45 degrees. Lift your head and shoulders off the mat and reach your arms alongside your hips.
- 2
Pump your arms up and down in small, quick beats while breathing in for 5 pumps and out for 5 pumps. Keep your abs drawn in and your lower back pressed into the mat.
- 3
Continue for 100 pumps, or about 1 minute. Bend your knees or lower your head if your neck or back tires.
Form tip: Keep your lower back on the mat. If it arches, raise your legs higher or bend your knees to keep your core working.
