How to do the reverse wrist curl
- 1
Sit holding a barbell with an overhand grip, forearms resting on your thighs or a bench with wrists hanging over the edge. Keep your hands shoulder-width apart.
- 2
Lift the bar by extending your wrists upward, as if revving a motorbike. Squeeze the top of your forearms, then lower slowly.
- 3
Take about 3 seconds to lower and breathe out as you lift. Keep your forearms still and your movement small.
Form tip: These muscles are small, so use a light weight and do not let your forearms lift off your legs.
