How to do the ab wheel rollout

  1. 1

Kneel on a mat holding an ab wheel with both hands under your shoulders, back slightly rounded and abs braced.

  2. 2

Roll the wheel forward slowly, extending your body until it is nearly straight, going only as far as you can control.

  3. 3

Pull the wheel back by tightening your abs to return to the start. Breathe in as you roll out and out as you return.

Form tip: Do not let your lower back sag; shorten the range if it does, and keep your glutes tight.
