How to do the high cable curl

  1. 1

Set two cable pulleys to head height and stand in the middle, holding a handle in each hand with your arms out to your sides at shoulder height. Keep your palms facing up.

  2. 2

Curl both handles toward your head, bringing your hands close to your ears, in a double bicep pose. Squeeze your biceps at the top.

  3. 3

Lower slowly until your arms are almost straight. Breathe out as you curl and in as you lower.

Form tip: Keep your upper arms level with your shoulders and still; if your elbows drop, your biceps are no longer doing the work.
