How to do the reverse curl

  1. 1

Stand holding an EZ bar with an overhand grip on the angled parts, hands shoulder-width apart, elbows at your sides. Keep your wrists straight.

  2. 2

Curl the bar up toward your shoulders keeping your elbows still, feeling your forearms and biceps. Pause briefly at the top.

  3. 3

Lower slowly over 3 seconds until your arms are straight. Breathe out as you curl up and in as you lower.

Form tip: Do not let your wrists bend back or swing your body; the overhand grip is weaker, so go lighter than normal curls.
