How to do the doorway chest stretch
- 1
Stand in a doorway and raise your forearms so that your elbows are bent at about 90 degrees. Rest your forearms on either side of the door frame.
- 2
Step one foot forward through the doorway and lean your body gently forward until you feel a stretch across the front of your chest and shoulders. Keep your core braced and your ribs down.
- 3
Hold for 30 seconds while breathing slowly.
Form tip: Do not let your lower back arch as you lean forward. Keep the stretch mild and stop if you feel pinching at the front of your shoulder.
