How to do the overhead press (kettlebell)
- 1
Clean a kettlebell to your shoulder with your wrist straight and the bell resting on your forearm. Stand with feet hip-width apart, glutes and abs tight.
- 2
Press the kettlebell straight overhead until your arm locks out and your bicep is near your ear. Keep your wrist straight and your ribs down.
- 3
Lower the bell back to your shoulder with control, keeping your elbow close to your body. Breathe out as you press and in as you lower. Switch arms after your reps.
Form tip: Keep your forearm vertical and do not let the bell pull your wrist back; squeeze the handle tightly throughout.
