How to do the kettlebell snatch

  1. 1

Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, kettlebell on the floor in front of you. Hinge at the hips and grip the handle with one hand, back flat.

  2. 2

Hike the bell back, then snap your hips forward and pull the kettlebell straight overhead in one smooth path, punching your hand through to lock your arm out at the top.

  3. 3

Pull the bell back down close to your body and hinge to swing it between your legs again. Breathe out at the top. Switch hands after your set.

Form tip: Guide the bell close to your body and punch your hand through at the top so it does not slam onto your wrist.
