How to do the landmine row

  1. 1

Anchor a barbell in a landmine and stand over the bar end with feet shoulder width apart, hinge forward and hold a V-handle or the bar with a flat back.

  2. 2

Row the weight toward your chest, squeezing your shoulder blades together. Lower until your arms are straight without rounding your back.

  3. 3

Breathe out as you row and in as you lower, over about two seconds. Keep your knees soft and core tight.

Form tip: Do not stand too upright; keep your torso at about 45 degrees and use a weight you can control.
