How to do the deadlift (kettlebell)
- 1
Stand with feet about shoulder width apart and the kettlebell between your feet. Hinge at your hips, bend your knees slightly and grip the handle with both hands, back flat.
- 2
Push your feet into the floor and stand up, driving your hips forward and squeezing your glutes at the top. Keep the kettlebell close to your body.
- 3
Lower by pushing hips back first, then bending your knees to set the bell down. Breathe in as you lower and out as you stand.
Form tip: Do not squat it; push your hips back and keep your chest up with a flat back.
