How to do the landmine press

  1. 1

Anchor the end of a barbell in a landmine holder or corner. Stand with a staggered stance, hold the free end at your shoulder with one hand, and brace your core.

  2. 2

Press the bar up and forward in an arc until your arm is almost straight, reaching slightly towards the end. Lower it back to your shoulder under control.

  3. 3

Breathe out as you press and in as you lower, taking about two seconds each way. Do all reps on one arm, then switch.

Form tip: Stay tall and do not lean back; the slight forward lean should come from your whole body, not your lower back.
