How to do the tire flip

  1. 1

Stand close to a large tire with feet slightly wider than shoulder-width. Squat down and get your fingers under the edge of the tire, chest up and back flat.

  2. 2

Drive up with your legs and hips, lifting the tire to your thighs. Then, as it rises, step in and push it forward with your chest and arms, flipping it over.

  3. 3

Reset your grip and repeat. Breathe in before each pull and out as you push. Keep your back flat and legs driving throughout.

Form tip: Use your legs first, then your arms. Do not round your lower back or yank with your arms.
